Reviews
Waiorau Homestead has a Certificate of Excellence and is ranked 1st out of 42 bed & breakfasts and inns in Wanaka on TripAdvisor.
Waiorau really sets the bar extremely high in terms of standards. Lovely room, with patio doors out onto a very peaceful terrace with amazing views. Ann and Blyth are great hosts, and if you can stay for dinner, as you wont be disappointed, the food is better than many high class European restaurants, breakfast is a similar standard.- Jan 6, 2012

First b&b I've stayed at since a child, waiorau has certainly set a very high standard for other b&bs to follow. Great location, rooms, amenities and hosts. It was wonderful to get back from a day out to the fire warming the lounge and the hosts on hand with baking and drinks, much like being on the club floor of a 5 star hotel but with personality. If you stay definitely have a dinner here, Blyth sets a great table. Breakfasts were great as well.– Sep 26, 2011

The view from the homestead is amazing. You look right up onto Cardrona ski field and the Southern Alps go for miles in both directions. Absolutely stunning when they're covered in snow. We opted for a 3-course meal on one of the nights we stayed. This was without a doubt one of the highlights of our stay. Blythe's talents as a chef are clearly evident in the meals he provided. And there was more food than you could shake a stick at!- Sep 12, 2011
