Sterling is gorgeous new hotel that aims to be a luxury boutique hotel while giving a nod to the colonial history of Malacca. We chose it as a birthday treat and wanted something close to Majestic in terms of quality. The Sterling is nearly there and with staff and a resident manager that is friendly, welcoming and makes you feel at home in seconds, it won't be long before its rep increases. The rooms are massive, chocolate colours are the theme and the furniture quite modern. The Riley (room 102 is the one used on the website) has tons of natural light and a jacuzzi to die for. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it. – Mar 13, 2012
