Traveling with two kids 6 years and 5 years of age, we were looking for a secluded luxury Thai-style hotel, off the main track of Krabi, with a great swimming pool, direct beach access, and excellent Thai food. Anantara Si Kao is exactly that. The wide beach with fine sand and shallow water allows for easy access into the water, and during low tide the sand banks are an ideal play ground for the kids to collect sea shells and build castles in the wet sand. The delicious and authentic Thai food that is being served distinguishes Anantara Si Kao from many other luxury hotels in Thailand. - Mar 24, 2011.

Just back from this lovely hotel - still amazed at the value we got. Very lovely, large rooms, a wonderful beach bar and the food - especially the Thai food - is wonderful (although the staff keep to a relaxed pace when it comes to serving it). Although the hotel pool is nice, if you feel like a change of scene, the staff will arrange to take you by boat to a nearby island which is as stunning as Koh Phi Phi and without the hoardes of tourists - for a small extra fee. There are day beds, umbrellas, staff and a hotel beach bar there so you can relax in paradise. I also really appreciated the spa and the healthy menu choices that were available. Jan 17, 2011.

The Anantara Si Kao is a beautiful secluded luxury resort in typical Thai style.It’s best feature is the LOCATION, set on a huge expanse of beach with simply stunning views of the limestone karst islands jutting out of the sea.
