Macaron making methods are broken down for easier comprehension with the help of German imported macaron mix so novices learn to serve up trays of the trendy French delight before learning to pronounce it in its native accent. A sugary savant trained at a French culinary school in Asia, guide students through a fool proof recipe with provided ingredients and equipment where individual touches are added through colour and decorative choices. Once macarons are piped out and placed in their cocoons awaiting colourful transformation, a cupcake demonstration is held where students can choose their favourite flavour, take notes, or naps as is normal class behaviour. After the two-hour class, the teacher waves bon voyage to students while students wish bon appétit to opportunist friends and family savouring up to 30 macarons. Students are advised to wear non-slip footwear, long pants and a t-shirt, and are not allowed to wear slippers during the class.
