Q: So I've purchased this product, and after weeks of using it, I find that there is a defect in manufacturing. It's obviously broken - how do I take advantage of the warranty?
A: Good news is, you don't have to ship the defected product back. Just take sufficient pictures / videos and describe the defect and email it to malaysia@tefneth-import.com. Upon receiving your email, Tefneth will verify that your product is indeed a manufacturing defect... and will ship a replacement product to you, completely free of charge. Delivery charges will be covered too.
Q: What if the defect is a mechanical error (i.e. after using it for X hours and was working fine until something goes wrong) and not a manufacturing problem?
A: The robot will display an error code on its display. Quote this error code displayed and email it to Tefneth; after which they will instruct you on easy troubleshooting steps.
Q: I'd like some brushes, please. How do I order extra products compatible with this RoboVac?
A: Select from a range of available stuff here: http://www.tefnethimport.com/index.php?page=robotvacuum-spareparts and you may order via email. The cost on the website is quoted in GBP (pounds) though, so if you want to know exactly how much it cost, you'll have to match it against the current foreign exchange rate.
Q: So I'm going to purchase this extra brush. Shipping how lah?
A: Unfortunately, extra stuff/spare parts ordered from Tefneth outside of this Groupon/the warranty of this product would have its shipping cost borne by yourself. As to how much the shipping will cost, it depends on the weight of the total products you order - this will be advised by Tefneth when you email them.
Q: I'm interested about the battery. How's that warranty like?
A: Like the product itself, the battery's warranty is for 1 year. If it dies before the 1 year period, you will be shipped a replacement battery unit for free; if it is outside of 1 year then just like any other spare parts, you will have to buy it yourself.
Q: My Robo-Vac is going to work for 1 hour. How much floor space can it cover?
A: This depends heavily on what's on your floor (if there are a lot of obstacles) but in general, a Robo-Vac with fully charged battery can cover 80-100 square meter on average.
Q: My floor is full of pet hair. Will Robo-Vac choke on it?
A: Nope. Robo-Vac is totally okay cleaning floors with tonnes of pet hair, or female hair.
Q: How carpet friendly is the Robo-Vac?
A: Regular carpets are fine, but keep Robo-Vac off bear rugs or animal skin ones. Tassels are fine too. If you have cords on the floor, push them as best to the walls of the room to increase efficiency (Robo-Vac won't get tangled up, but you'd want to clean the floors beneath the cords too!)
Q: How's the mop like? Cleaning detergent needed?
A: The mopping feature for this Robo-Vac works like Swiffer (what a Swiffer is like: http://swiffer-coupons.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/swiffer.jpg). How it works: attach the Swiffer-like cloth to the Robo-Vac and it'll run around doing its magic. At the end of the chore, you replace the cloth (or wash it if it's not too dirty). Cloths are provided in the package. You can opt to have it wet (just wet the cloth before attaching) or dry (just attach the cloth without wetting it)
Q: How long is delivery?
A: It will take approximately 6 weeks for your Robo-Vac to arrive. Here is why: Tefneth will be specially assembling your Robo-Vac units from scratch to cater fully for the Malaysian environment (i.e. plugs, wiring, etc). On top of that, to save cost, your product will be shipped to you, and not air-flown.
Q: Who, or what, is Tefneth Import?
