Mimicrying fish monomaniacs unsettled by the slow pace of urbane living get the chance to scare water into various shades of white, racing downstream in an inflatable raft of buoyant orange. Floating at slick speeds in the wet Sungai Kampar, daredevils ride up to Grade 3 of rafting standards, all the while under the careful steward of stoic water benders positioned at the front or back of the raft. An archetypical rafting experience involves up to 2 hours of rushing waters or calm trickling downstream but participants need not worry about developing aquaphobia as safety helmets and life jackets are provided. Customers may choose to bring goggles and knee guards for added security, but rubber ducks are not advised as they have known to get lost midway through rafting.

Two sessions commence daily if minimum capacity of 10 people is reached. Customers may choose either the 10am or 1pm assembly time at Gua Tempurung. Leisure & Incentive Tours may reschedule the activity if water levels are deemed unsafe. Insurance is not included in this Groupon and can be purchased separately.

How it works

Call 03-2070 8667 (Mon – Fri: 10am – 6pm) / 016-311 2889 (Mr Mokhtar) or 017-311 1591 (Mr Kamal) (mobile numbers after 6pm only) to confirm the availability of preferred dates, and place a booking.
Assemble at Gua Tempurung car park by 10am or 1pm (depending on session) on the reserved day to proceed to the activity site with the coordinator.
Participants will have a 30-minute briefing and will have to sign an indemnity form before proceeding.

Customers may opt for a 10-seater van return transfer from Kuala Lumpur / Petaling Jaya to Gua Tempurung for an additional RM550, with pickup points located at PJ Hilton and Chinatown. Large groups may be picked-up within a three-kilometre radius of designated pickup points.
