In the days of yore, swords were a symbol of ones stature; denoting bravery, nobility and failed attempts at mastering chopsticks. Today’s Groupon takes a stab at swordsmanship with fencing class for beginners at One Fencing Centre in Kelana Jaya. Choose from:
- 1 x 1-hour session + 30 minutes of sparring for RM15 (RM45 value)
- 2 x 1-hour sessions + 30 minutes of sparring for RM25 (RM85 value)
- 4 x 1-hour sessions + 1 hour of sparring (broken into two 30-minute sessions) for RM39 (RM140 value)

- Footwork
- Bladework
Novice level bladesmen hone dull reflexes under the tutelage of SUKMA gold medallist swordsmen whilst heeding chronicles of fencing weapons and attires. As minds are enlightened, the body follows, pulling off graceful footwork and executing well-timed ripostes, precision thrusts and intricate bladeworks, raking in numerical victories while opponents cower in fear. While fencing blade, gloves, mask and armour are provided, students are required to come donned in sports attire or content with sparring with toothpicks and piercing comments.
