4-hour Hands-On Nail Gel Art Course

Budding artists during the pre-Renaissance era painted on their nails as they could not bear the cost of canvases or the shame of their atrocious art on public display. Today’s Groupon lets you unleash your creative side, minus the ridicule: for RM68, you get a 4-hour hands-on nail gel art course from Nailtiful in Puchong.
   
A nail abecedary runs through six nail art designs with prospective nail architects, visually and verbally demonstrating the gel application and removal, which is then mimicked on the artistic canvas of a faux nailtip using more than 50 colours and three brands of soak-off gel for various effects. The hands-on nature of the class allows students to fully grasp the six different designs, but should that not occur, demonstrators will repeat the process, to the chagrin of other students and drying paint. Pupils may stay on after the class till 7.00pm for self-practice, and teacher’s pets who want more designs to learn may top up an additional RM50.

The salon provides all tools except a gel brush and an art brush. Students must bring their own, or purchase them from Nailtiful at RM12 for a gel brush and RM2 for an art brush.
