Covering shutterbug theory like the structure of the DSLR camera, shutter and effect, aperture and depth of field, exposure, ISO, white balance, lens and flash for two hours, budding photographers pick up a wealth of information from professional pixel purist, Kamarul Akhir who has 16 years of experience. Light refreshments provide students with an energy boost for a two-hour outdoor photography mission under the watchful eye of the master and inadvertent onlookers captured in frames. Kamarul Akhir is a stringer photographer at Xinhua News Agency Kuala Lumpur, and has previously worked for The Sun newspaper.

Students must bring their own cameras and equipment. Those unable to attend the preset classes may contact Kamarul Akhir to schedule an individual or group session (additional charges may apply).
