Burgeoning coffee connoisseurs learn the secret of good coffee brewing as demonstrated by Cheryl, a finalist at the Asia Barista Championship 2008. She imparts the pearls of compulsive caffeine wisdom into participants as she teaches them to sharpen inborn coffee noses and artfully pair dark roasted nectar with palatable sweets and whispers of sweet nothings. At the end of the 90-minute experience, eager bar apprentices -- having repented from their unrefined fuel guzzling habits -- get to practice their newly acquired coffee savouring skills by redeeming a complementary voucher for coffee or tea at Joseph @ Kitchen.

Participants are advised to have a meal before attending the workshop, preferably one without the taste-numbing zests of chilli and potent spices.
