Cookie costumiers learn the closely-guarded secrets of working effortlessly with pesky fondant and royal icing from an experienced fondant-fondler during a descriptive demo, before moving on to unleash their creativity on birthday-suited sugar cookies with a garrison of colourful fondant and all the necessary equipment. The no-bake class equips students with five 5cm x 5cm sugar cookies to decorate with five adorable animal fondant designs worthy of being featured in a petting zoo or inside overactive tummies. Students stride off with newfound design skills, as well as recipes for sugar cookies, fondant and royal icing, and if they manage to overcome their sweet-toothed temptations, they also go home with five self-decorated masterpieces to parade to envious neighbours and sceptical mother-in-laws.
