Home to 3, 000 birds and around 200 species, enthusiasts and curious eyes converge in the world’s largest free-flight walk-in aviary made up of four zones, making it the biggest bird cage ever. Feathered friends fly free in zones one to three as hornbills, peacocks, colourful eastern rosella, sun conures and ducks mingle with shutterbugs. Flightless birds like the ostrich, emu, and cassowary are kept in separate cages in zone four to prevent hostility to other species and telemarketers. Mummy birds shy away in the egg incubation chamber and patrons are welcomed to revel but are not allowed to handle the fragile oval orbs. A stroll down Parrot World allows guests to feed and hold colourful fluffs of feathers while avoiding birdy bombs.

Hungry birdwatchers can grab a bite at the kampong-themed Hornbill Restaurant but don’t be surprised to find missing food from plates as birds roam freely amongst diners and harried waiters. A tour around the entire park takes up to two hours and customers are advised to plan their day as not to miss the main attractions. The park also organises private parties, seminars and wedding photography sessions but must be booked in advance as the birds require rehearsals.
